A vinyl decal is a single-colour cut file: one sheet, one weed, one layer. This template keeps every stroke at or above 1.4 mm, joins floating islands to the main body, and exports SVG, DXF and PDF for a Cricut or Silhouette cut.

WRITING A GOOD PROMPT
Name the subject.
Name the style.
Decal prompts work best when they describe a silhouette first and decoration second. Vague moods produce fuzzy edges that cannot be cut.

✓One clear subject — an animal, an object, a landscape line
The template keeps strokes at or above 1.4 mm, which is inside the Joy blade range for 651 vinyl. If your vinyl is thinner or your blade is worn, raise the minimum in the preview settings before downloading.
Can I get two colours in one decal?+
Not in this template — it is deliberately one layer so it weeds in a single pass. Use the layered template if you want multiple colours with registration marks.
Does the decal include text?+
Only if you ask for it. Type the exact wording in the prompt and check the preview character by character; generated lettering can misspell short words.
